The location is privileged and it is possible to arrive and leave by bus. It is also close to shinotaka ropeway, from where you can make excursions. It's really worth it. The onsen in the room is a luxury. The terrace has great views.
The information they provide in the hotel about what to do in the surroundings is very scarce. After much insistence and asking two people we discovered more or less the possibilities we had. The maps they have don't take you for granted.

The buffet in the evening is good, but every evening the same - the opposite of varied! Too bad.
